Working at RHI

We employ people to talk to other people's customers, which sounds simple and is not. Done properly it needs patience, clear speech, genuine listening and the composure to stay useful when someone is angry about something you did not cause.

If that describes you, the work is more interesting than its reputation suggests. Our agents learn a client's product properly rather than reading from a script, and the ones who do it well become the people the client asks for by name.

The roles we hire for

  • Customer support agents - phone, live chat, email, WhatsApp and social media, in English or one of the Indian languages we staff.
  • Technical support agents - for clients whose products need diagnosis rather than routing.
  • Back-office and finance process staff - data entry, records, invoice processing, accounts administration.
  • Quality analysts - reviewing interactions against scorecards and calibrating with other reviewers.
  • Team leaders and supervisors - usually promoted from agent roles rather than hired in.
  • Trainers - taking a client's product and turning it into something learnable in weeks.

What we look for

For voice roles, we assess on live-style call simulations rather than written tests. Reading a language is a different skill from holding a difficult conversation in it, and the second one is what the job needs. We are listening for clarity, comprehension across regional speech, and correct respectful register - including when the caller is being rude.

For chat and written support we assess separately. Written support in Hindi, for instance, means reading messages typed in Roman script with inconsistent spelling and English mixed in, then replying in whichever script the customer chose.

Prior BPO experience helps but is not required. Composure, listening and a genuine willingness to learn a product are harder to train than process knowledge.

Training and progression

Every new hire is trained on the client's product, systems, tone and policies, and is assessed before taking a live contact. Nobody is put in front of a customer to learn on them.

After that, coaching runs on a cycle driven by what quality reviews find rather than a fixed calendar. The usual progression is agent to senior agent to team leader, and we promote internally wherever we can - a supervisor who has done the job understands the queue in a way an external hire does not. Quality analyst and trainer routes suit people who would rather deepen the craft than manage a team.

Shifts and coverage

Be clear-eyed about this before applying. Because our clients' customers contact them across time zones and outside office hours, many roles involve shift work: evenings, weekends, and in some cases overnight rotations. Shift requirements are stated in each job posting, and we ask about your availability during the application rather than after an offer.

Where we hire

We recruit across several Indian cities. The current list, and which locations are actively hiring, is on our contact page. Only our New Delhi registered office has a published address - the other cities are places we operate or recruit, and we will not describe them as visitor offices until there is a verified address to publish.

Current openings

Open roles are listed on our jobs page when we are recruiting. We do not publish evergreen adverts for roles that do not exist in order to collect CVs, so if nothing is listed, we are genuinely not hiring for that role at the moment.

Applications are reviewed by the hiring team and you will hear from us either way. Please use the careers route rather than the sales enquiry form - applications sent to the sales address take longer to reach the right people, and we keep candidate data separate from commercial enquiries deliberately.

Recruitment fraud

Please read this before paying anyone anything. RH International Ltd. never asks candidates for payment at any stage of recruitment - not for training, not for equipment, not for processing or placement. If someone claiming to represent us asks you for money, it is not us. The full notice and how to report an approach is set out with our recruitment privacy information.

How we handle your application data

We use your details and CV only to consider you for the role you applied for and, where you agree, for similar future openings. Your CV is stored privately and is not published, sold or shared with clients without your consent. Applications are kept only as long as we need them, and you can ask us to correct or delete yours at any time using the privacy address on our contact page. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
