Review status: this page was reviewed by MS Legal on 2026-08-08. It describes how to exercise your data protection rights with us.

What you can ask us for

You can ask us to do any of the following with the personal data we hold about you. You do not need to give a reason, and exercising a right will never count against you.

  • Access - a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and an explanation of what we use it for.
  • Correction - fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Deletion - delete your data where we have no overriding reason to keep it.
  • Restriction - pause our use of your data while something is being resolved.
  • Objection - object to our using your data on the basis of legitimate interests.
  • Portability - receive data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable form.
  • Withdraw consent - where we relied on consent, including marketing follow-up and cookie categories.

Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights - including under the UK GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Those apply in addition to the list above.

What to include in your request

To deal with your request quickly, please tell us:

  1. Which right you are exercising - or simply describe what you want to happen, in your own words.
  2. Your name and the contact details you used with us. We look your record up by these, so an email address or phone number you gave us originally helps most.
  3. Which relationship this concerns - a website enquiry, a job application, or something else. These are held separately with different access rules, so knowing which one saves time.
  4. Approximately when you contacted us or applied, if you remember.

Please do not send us sensitive personal information, identity documents or financial details in your first message. If we need to verify your identity we will tell you exactly what is needed and how to send it securely.

If someone is acting for you, tell us who they are and how they are authorised. We may ask for written authority before disclosing anything to them. That is not intended to slow the request down; it is to avoid sending your information to someone who is not entitled to receive it.

If you are asking about a company's customer data

This is worth checking before you write, because it decides who can actually help you.

When we provide customer support for a client, that client decides how their customer data is used and we act on their instructions. In data protection terms they are the controller and we are the processor. If you contacted a company and spoke to one of our agents, the request needs to go to that company rather than to us - they hold the record and they have the authority to act on it. If you send it to us we will not ignore it: we will tell you promptly so you do not lose time, and where our client's contract requires it we will pass it on.

Requests about data we hold for our own purposes - your enquiry to us, your job application, your cookie consent - come to us directly, and this page is the right route.

What happens next

We acknowledge your request, verify who you are if we need to, and respond within the time limit the law allows. If we need longer because your request is complex, we will tell you before that limit expires rather than after it.

There is no charge. If we cannot do what you have asked - which happens occasionally, for example where we are legally required to keep a record - we will explain which exemption applies and what we can do instead.

If you are not satisfied

Please tell us first, because most problems turn out to be a misunderstanding that is resolved quickly once someone looks at it properly. If you are still unhappy, you can complain to a data protection regulator: in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office, with whom we are registered under reference ZB879055; in India, the authority established under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. You are not required to come to us first.

Our full privacy policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and how long we keep it.

This page is deliberately not a general enquiry route. Commercial questions, callback requests and pilot discussions should go through the contact page, where they enter the sales workflow. Data rights requests are handled separately because they have different access, retention and response rules.
